About The Cryptid Mae
Julia Mae is from the American Mid-Atlantic and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for three years. Their life has taken many crazy bends and turns, leading them to where she is now as a storyteller and illustrator. She loves comic books, anime and manga, and watches B horror movies. Their biggest influences are Princess Mononoke, Princess Tutu, and Castlevania the Animated Series. Her work is eclectic, but through it all, you will find a love of life, an embracing of mortality, and the comfort of hope.
